Yes! We travel within 25 miles of our homes for free. Beyond 25 miles, we can discuss a travel fee in advance. I do have artists outside of the Twin Cities and even into Wisconsin, so don't hesitate to reach out for a quote.
My number one priority in the trial is that you feel confident, beautiful and ready for your wedding day. If you are unhappy in any way after your trial, we'll do everything we can to make it right. That may be a second trial with the same artist or having a trial with a different artist on my team. If neither of these options work, then I will refund your deposit (minus the cost of the trial) and even give you a referral to another stylist if you'd like. I want your wedding day getting ready experience to be a peaceful and joyful one, and If we are not the team for you then I want you to be free to find the company that is.
You can make updates to the number of services you originally booked until 90 days before the wedding. After that, you can add services if the artists can accommodate the additions and it works for your timeline. If you need to take any services away, then you'll be responsible to still pay 50% of the originally booked service. That said, we can always swap someone in to take the place of the person that backed out.
You have a week after signing the contract to cancel for a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel within 90 days of the wedding, you're responsible for 50% of the services booked in your contract.
Your deposit holds the date of your wedding, and goes towards your final balance on your wedding day. From your initial contract, a preliminary invoice will be created based on the number of services you selected. As you finalize details, I will update the invoice to reflect any changes. The final balance is due 2 weeks before your wedding date.
We typically plan for an hour for bridal hair or makeup, and 40 minutes for each person in the wedding party. When you first sign your contract, I'll create a timeline for you based on the number services you think you'll need as well as when you want your hair and makeup to be finished by. Once you meet with your photographer and know exactly when your beauty services should be finished by, I'll refine the timeline. We'll also consider when you can get into your venue or hotel, if you want to have "getting ready" photos, and make sure there's time for you to eat breakfast and lunch!
If you're working with a wedding planner, we can collaborate on this together so you don't even have to think about it. My goal is to make hair and makeup the easy and fun part of your day.
In the extremely rare circumstance of this happening, I will do everything in my power to find a replacement artist from within my company or from the larger hair and makeup community I'm a part of here in Minnesota. I have trusted relationships with other owners of hair and makeup companies that can help me find a replacement. In the very worst case of scenarios, I would refund your services if we couldn't find a replacement (which has never happened in my 10+ years of owning this company).
After you have a trial run, your artists will upload photos and notes into our shared portal. This allows me to have access to the information we need to pass on to another artist to make sure you still get the look you planned on in your trial run.
No, I believe that tips are earned, not required. If you desire to tip your artists on your wedding day, they can be tipped directly with cash or a cash app.
I have artists all over the Twin Cities with different capacities for traveling. In general, if your wedding is further than 2 hours away we would require a travel fee plus overnight accommodation provided by you.
No problem! We can book as many artists as needed to accommodate your wedding party for no additional fee. The most important factor to keep in mind is making sure we have your timeline created early and the artists booked in with a contract to ensure availability.
Yes! I love naturally curly hair and have TONS of experience doing updo's for gals who want to keep it natural. We don't have to change your texture to make your hair look amazing for your wedding day. Rest assured, you will be in good hands!
That's totally fine! My team is skilled at helping you decide what will be the best look for you based on hair type, face shape, overall aesthetic of your wedding, etc. We'll look at pictures together, discuss your dress and accessories, and listen to the details to make sure we're on the same page.
